Hey Guys,
I've been going through all your past episodes over the last couple of weeks. Great show.
I'm really interested in running a Savage World campaign (using the Explorere's Edition of course), and I'm really intrigued by the system-less Freeport source book. But, I couldn't find it listed in Green Ronin's catolog. All the books I saw were tied to some d20version (either True, 3.5, or 3.0). What's the actual title for this book?
Thanks,
-frake

Hey guys, interesting conversation about rising price points. It's certainly something every small press publisher is thinking about. For the record, Grey Ranks retails for $22, and the .pdf is $12. Since every owner/publisher is making their own value equation, prices are all over the map - I can think of books I (as a consumer) feel are egregiously over-priced and others that are practically being given away. As you note, the gaming public will ultimately decide what constitutes a reasonable price.

Ha! Glad to hear it - it's a tasty book, and a hell of a competitor at $10.

I will add that I think I sound a little down on several products. Changeling: the Lost and Freeport both got unfairly slighted, I think, by my comments. We mainly meant to just talk about the massive flood of stuff, and comment on some of the catchier or better stuff.

Truth is, I'm about 2000+ pages behind on my reading (to say the least). Changeling hasn't gotten much of an in-depth read, and I had only picked up A Pirates Guide to Freeport two days before the show.

I will add that Freeport's getting an actual review soon (probably with the next show), and in the last few days of actually reading it, I find it to be very impressive.
